It is currently taking 7-10 business days for applications to enter the passport application tracking system.

For U.S. Government Officials Only: If you are checking the status of a pending diplomatic, official, or other special issuance passport application for yourself or an eligible family member, please contact:

Department of Defense: Contact your DoD passport acceptance agent. Passport acceptance agents should contact the DoD Executive Agent for Passport and Visa Services if additional information is required.

All other federal agencies: Contact your agency’s passport acceptance agent. Passport acceptance agents should contact the Special Issuance Agency directly if additional information is required.

Use of the Internet to access your U.S. passport application information involves the electronic transmission of personal information. By entering your email address above and clicking on the submit button below, you are consenting to the electronic transmission of your personal information. Your consent is effective during the entire time you care communicating with the National Passport Information Center. Passport Services can only release this information to the passport applicant or to the parent or guardian of an applicant under age 18.
